Belgrade

I visited Belgrade in 2008. Belgrade means "white fortress and it is at the confluence of the Danube and Sava Rivers. I visited St Sava Cathedral (which is unfinished), the Belgrade Fortress in Kalemegdan park and strolled down the pedestrian walk near Republic Square.

My guide also pointed out the building that had been bombed by NATO and had yet to be repaired. Hopefully they finally have them fixed.
