Geirangerfjord

We visited Geiranger in 2006 and again in 2012. Geiranger is a very small town but “is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world” according to “Lonely Planet” and I would have to agree that the scenery is spectacular. Activities include hiking and kayaking. We spent the day kayaking round the head of Geirangerfjord. There are a number of wonderful waterfalls in the area as you travel down the fjord, most notably are the “Seven Sisters” and the “Suitor”. We were lucky enough to cruise through the fjord in the morning, so I got a wonderful picture of a rainbow on “Seven Sisters”.
