Monaco

We visited Monaco in the summer of 2004. It is the second smallest country in the world at less than 2 square km and the most densely populated. It was saved from bankruptcy by the creation of the Monte Carlo Casino in 1858. We walked through the Casino and found it surprisingly small and low key compared to casinos in Las Vegas. Other sites to visit are the Royal Palace and the Cathedral (with the tomb of Princess Grace).
