Reykjavík

We visited Reykjavík in the summer of 2012. Reykjavík is the capitol and largest city in Iceland. It is a sprawling city with few skyscrapers; the largest structure is the Hallgrímskirkja Lutheran Church. In the city central is the Tjörnin “the pond” which the parliament faces. People are very friendly and helpful and in old town there are a lot of very good restaurants and interesting shops.
