This gallery contains my pictures of Nantes, Cholet, Clisson, Maulévrier in the Pays de la Loira Region in Western France.
Nantes is the 6th largest city in France and is the capital of the Pays de la Loire region.
Cholet: During the French revolution, Cholet was one of the centers of counter-revolutionary activity. In October 1793 the Battle of Cholet was won by the republicans and was followed by a period of brutal government repression of Cholet.
Clisson has its imposing castle ruins which portions date from the thirteenth century.
Parc Oriental de Maulévrier is a Japanese garden in France and is located in Maulévrier and contains a large pond, a bridge, and a pagoda.
