Moorea
I visited Mo’orea in 2009 and found it a friendly and relaxing place. It is a great to sit in the sun and read a book and recharge. However there are sites to see if you get restless. There are a number of things to do, like go to Opunohu Bay to view the ancient marae (temples), drive to the Belvidere for an ocean view of Cook's Bay, go to Paopao Valley where they have the island’s plantations, and Kallem Gardens to see a wide selection of flowers. I would recommend taking a jungle tour in a 4x4 to get a birds eye view of the coast from ‘magic Mountain” as well as a lagoon tour to see the spinner dolphins (and surfers).
