Osaka
I visited Osaka in Autumn of 2015. Our hotel in Osaka was located on the 22 floor near Dotonaori canal. What a surprise to find that the hotel has a wedding chapel in the old European style (as in a 3 story recreation of a medieval chapel) by reception on the 22 floor. Not surprisingly there were several weddings and wedding receptions in progress when we arrived.
We walked over to the markets along the Dotonaori canal where they had shops, street vendors and restaurants. We ate at a little hole in the wall restaurant with crates and planks for tables and has some good tendan dishes. The pedestrian walk was very crowded with people enjoying their evening.
The subways in Japan are very clean, although as you can see they have a problem with people walking up the wrong stairs, so they went wild with “No Exit” signs.
