Carara National Park

We visited Costa Rica in 2016 and our stay was short with only time spent in Puntarenas and Parque Nacional Carara (Carara National Park), specifically near and on the Tarcoles River. We took a cruise down the river looking at the crocodiles, birds, cattle and other wildlife. There were quite a few Herons, Macaws, Woodnymphs, Exotic motmots, and others. We also spent some time at the Rio Tarcoles Bridge or better known as Crocodile Bridge looking and the huge crocodiles below.
